Hi everyone! These muffins are great for anytime of the day and make a GREAT breakfast. Enjoy!

I found this recipe at

You can make these muffins big……..
……….or small

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup white sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup milk

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 egg

3/4 chocolate chips

3 tablespoons white sugar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

Step One:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease the pan of your choice.

Step Two:

In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup white sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips, and salt; whisk together. In a small bowl combine milk, oil, and egg; blend together. Add in all of the dry ingredients at once and stir until all combined. Batter should be lumpy.

Step Three:

Fill 2/3 full. Mix together 3 tablespoons white sugar and 2 tablespoons brown sugar and sprinkle on top before baking. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool for 1 minute before removing from pan.

If you aren’t going to eat them right away cover them after removing them and when your ready heat them up in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

Happy Baking,

Ali O
